“Marry somebody you love and who thinks you being a writer’s a good idea.” ~Richard Ford

Who are we?

Well, for starters, we are writers. We write books, but long before that, we were writing short stories and essays, poems and prose, dreaming of a day when we’d finally sit down and pen our novel.

We are H & R. We are not an accounting service. We are gamers, dreamers, and storytellers.

You can call us Narratrix and Dragon.

We are a duo, a husband and wife team who had a story to tell and finally got it told. We delight in putting our characters through hell just to see what comes out the other side. We like to weave intricate plots that make you think, paintbrush our world into existence, and breathe life into characters that are a little bit us, a little bit you, and more than a little bit awesome.

We’ve been playing in the world of the Nemesis Chronicles for years, and in that time, we’ve shaped it, warped it, twisted it up and shook it free again. We’ve battered and bruised our protagonists, pit them against insurmountable odds, and watched as they managed to walk away only mildly singed each and every time.

Dirk and Morgan, Bella and Sam, Tequila and Sue, Jinx and Bree, and a whole host of characters you have yet to meet, have been living, breathing, existing within the confines of our minds for years.

And now? It’s time to set them free. To write their stories. To drag them out into the light for others to enjoy.

I said at the start that we are writers. And really, that’s the long and short of it. We write because it’s what we do.

Beyond that? We live in the moist yet gorgeous Emerald City (Seattle, WA) and are owned by four felines (The Feline!Mafia) who tend to star in the bulk of the picture posts on ye olde Instagram account (because … cats). When we’re not writing or in the studio, we spend our time gaming, cooking, philosophizing, and spending time getting to know this crazy world we find ourselves a part of.

About Your Narratrix

narratrixpicTaking her own love of storytelling, not just for her own work, but that of others, Hollie (aka Narratrix) found her true calling in the vocal booth. With a range that goes from the innocent to the risque, across all genres, Hollie’s voice brings characters of all types to vibrant, compelling life, letting you sit back and allow the words to wrap around you.

She grew up getting lost in the world of poetry and prose, and truly enjoys sharing that with others through spoken word. Stories are, after all, meant to be spread by any means necessary, right?

As an already voracious reader, she enjoys an eclectic range of genre and likes to carry that over into the studio: from contemporary romance to paranormal thrillers, historical fiction to epic fantasy, from steamy erotica to tamer YA titles.

Everyone has a story to tell…and Hollie loves to bring those stories to life, one word at a time.
